Mid-Michigan Artist To Exhibit At The Flint Institute Of Arts

Gaines, MI - Mid-Michigan Artist Tonya Henderson Rollyson is scheduled to exhibit at the Flint Institute of Arts, Sales & Rental Gallery as the Artist of the Month during September & October of 2010. Tonya is an acrylic painter who dabbles occasionally with mixed media. Her work ranges from contemporary realism to the abstract. She works mainly on gallery wrapped canvases because she says that framing her work feels like it is containing or restricting the energy of the painting.
Tonya has exhibited her work nationally over the course of 24 years. This exhibit will include pieces from previous periods along with brand new work that will be exhibited for the very first time during the exhibition.
